    • Biography: James Marcellin 'Jim' St. Vrain an American Baseball player that was reputed for being the youngest in his league. His Baseball playing history was well documented. Pitcher for the Chicago Orphans in 1902.
      In a total of 12 games, 11 starts, 10 complete games, and 95 innings pitched, he had 51 strikeouts and only 25 walks, and gave up just 22 earned runs. Though his record was 4?6, his ERA was a sparkling 2.08.

      James married Frances 'Fanny' Barnes and the pair eventually retired to Butte, Montana where they had originally met before James' baseball career. The couple had no descendants. James became an avid gardener until the time of his death.
